Smolov base cycle, week 1 day 4

After last night I was shitting myself for this morning...

I think after last nights horrible mess, I mentally really needed a good day today and as ive stated before, im used to 5's and 3's. Had to introduce some caffiene today and it seemed to work a treat. Got through fine, all reps were pretty smooth, they obviously slowed last set or two but no tech/form breaks.

Im glad week 1 is over, and I ended it well, gives me confidence for finding this 10 kilos to add to all my sets next week. You would think my legs would be in bits but my upper body is really taking the brunt of all this work. Lats are really really sore, wrists are in bits and my lower back was angry with me, but its no where near as bad as lats/wrists/forearms.

Word of advice people, get some good wrist wraps/elbow sleeves for this routine. The more cast like they are, the better! Weigh in monday too! wonder whats happening... Am I sweling up or staying the same?!
